The quote referenced above is from a speech made by Adolf Hitler in Germany in 1933. Let’s fast forward 80 years to the year 2013 in the United States of America. Melissa Harris-Perry, MSNBC host and political science professor at Tulane University, states in a promo video for MSNBC’s Lean Forward campaign, “We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everyone’s responsibility, and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.” Are you kidding me? Your children do not belong to you, but to the collective. WTF???!!! This sounds like it could have come right from the mouth of Hitler or Karl Marx. Let’s be honest with ourselves, the term progressive is really nothing more than another word for statist/marxist just as the term conservative has become another word for warmonger. While I am clearly no big fan of Fox News and understand they present biased news on a daily basis, MSNBC has gone off the deep end by openly spewing Marxist/Communist propaganda.
Parents, now more than ever, it is imperative that you be aware of the information that your children are being fed in our public schools. You need to be involved in their education and to be cognizant of what they are being taught. I am afraid that you will find much of it has become politicized propaganda. And now with an increasing push to further federalize education and curriculum, this propaganda will attempt to gain an even bigger foothold. Keep your eyes open and get involved with your PTA and local school board. Do you want people like Harris-Perry telling the schools what your children should be taught?
